Alexandra Zak Slattery, APRN, has joined the team at Guilford Pediatrics.
Alex is a native of Madison, CT, who is happy to be returning to the CT Shoreline after working at a community health clinic in rural Arizona for the past three years. Working at the Clinic prepared her to manage many acute and chronic pediatric illnesses due to specialists and pediatric hospitals being difficult to access.
"I am so excited to join Guilford Pediatrics and become part of a shoreline staple," Alex commented. "To be back home and serve the community is a dream come true."
Alex is passionate about early childhood development, asthmatic, and orthopedic care. She received her B.S. from Springfield College in Health Care Sciences, then earned a Master's degree from Yale School of Nursing in Pediatric Primary Care.
Alex is a Madison native who knew she wanted to move back once starting a family. She lives in Madison with her husband, daughter, and dog Riley. Alex enjoys reading, being outdoors, and baking in her free time.
